We held another awesome Afro Hair Cafe workshop brought to you by zanjoo.com at the beautiful Marriott Hotel in Glasgow city center recently. Joined by a number of lovely ladies eager to learn how to take care of their glorious afro hair, learn about holistic health, ancient & indigenous nutrition/herbs and how to use African head wraps all at beginners introductory level, so much ground was covered during our jam packed hours.

We also held a q&a at the end where the ladies were keen to hear even more tips & info over our handmade canape selection so they could get a taste of some of the healthy  food choices discussed during the presentation that has helped me maintain health weight as well as taste great. The ladies also made new friends and enjoyed the safe space to openly discuss hair and health issues they found to be a struggle, one attendee even said we just saved her from reverting back to relaxing her natural hair after finding it a struggle, she now has a host of new ideas on how to work with her mane woohoo!
